HTTPS everywhere
Traffic between guests, hosts, and Snapvyn is encrypted in transit via TLS so uploads, sign-ins, and event access do not travel in plain text.

Snapvyn takes reasonable steps to protect accounts, event media, and uploaded personal data, while recognizing that no online platform can guarantee absolute security.
Protected storage & signed URLs
Media, metadata, and backups are stored in isolated cloud object storage. Direct bucket access is blocked, and uploads utilize short-lived, pre-signed URLs.
Host-controlled visibility
Hosts choose whether an event is shared or private, whether real-time moderation is required, and how long media stays available under their selected package.
Scoped access & token integrity
Event access is strictly tokenized via QR codes or invite links. Viewing an event does not confer open download access or rights to redistribute another user's content.
Automated data minimization
When an event's retention period wraps, photos and videos are deleted, and guest records are automatically anonymized in compliance with Sri Lanka PDPA principles.
Rapid incident response
We maintain proactive detection against prohibited adult or exploitative content, abuse, and scraping. Report security or privacy concerns directly to snapvyn@gmail.com.
